Ciccio Ingrassia, the legendary comic actor would have turned 100 years old

Francesco Ingrassia, nicknamed Ciccio, was born in Palermo on 5 October 1922. His year of birth is still marked in the registry office in 1923, an error also known to the family but never formally corrected. Francesco’s father was a bricklayer and his mother a housewife, with a very modest income that forced them to make more than one sacrifice.
