Bill Gates’ wife Melinda Gates has opened up about their divorce for the first time.
In an interview she gave to an American media, she said that her divorce with Bill Gates caused unimaginable pain.
“Due to some reasons, I couldn’t continue my married life. I got the privacy I needed during the Corona period. We both ran the foundation together. So the official separation was not that easy either.
Obligation to give unique labor
I had to work with the person I had to break up with. Sometimes at 9 in the morning I am crying. In the next one hour we will have to talk to him via video over the internet. Due to this, I was forced to give my unique effort every day,” he said.
After 27 years of marriage, both of them went to the court seeking divorce in May 2021 and the court granted the divorce in August that year.
