[Mis à jour le 5 octobre 2022 à 14h28] The most famous video game license made its big comeback at the end of last September, for a final season of football content. At the heart of the news at the moment, its FUT 23 mode. The most competitive mode of FIFA 23 once again ignites the ardor of football fans, who are already trying to compose the perfect team to crush the competition. And metas are starting to take shape, making some players from Ligue 1, Serie A, Premier League, Bundesliga and La Liga the most wanted cards of the moment. We classify them by championship just below, so that you know which are the nuggets of the major national leagues.

Despite the nineteen other Ligue 1 teams, all the players in this ranking belong to Paris Saint-Germain. A half-surprise when you see the strength of Christophe Galtier’s men, both offensively and defensively. First on the list by winning the FUT 23 Most Wanted Player title, Kylian Mbappe, who remains the best offensive option in all leagues, thanks in particular to his 97 in speed (!!!), 92 in dribbling and 89 in striking. However, it remains difficult to obtain, just like its comrades Messi et Neymarboth of whom offer extremely solid attacking solutions, although Messi’s stats have dropped slightly since FIFA 22. Extremely sought after as a right-back, Achraf Hakimi, who boasts relatively high stats in addition to his excellent 92 Speed. Behind, marquinhos remains one of the best defenders in the game although one might prefer a Kimpembe less expensive. Gianluigi Donnarumma is the best goalkeeper in Ligue 1.

Sometimes qualifying our dear Ligue 1 as a “farmer’s league”, the English championship remains probably the highest overall competition in Europe. But in terms of FUT players so far, only three seem to stand out as mainstays at their level. We start with the pharaoh Mohamed Salah, who ranks as one of the most effective right-backs in the game, benefiting in particular from 91 in speed (currently) and overall extremely regular statistics. Little Franco-French surprise that comes to us from Newcastle, Hugo Saint-Maximin. The midfielder offers a solid, relatively low-cost option and is showing some pretty impressive attacking stats this year. As for central defence, the eternal Virgil Van Dijk probably remains the best option in all leagues. Special mention to Erling Haaland who shows us a spectacular start to the season and whose statistics could (and surely will) increase during the season in particular because of his status as One To Watch.

Known for its status as a nursery of great players, the Bundesliga is once again offering us two little prodigies for the start of the 2023 season. In particular, our national Christopher Nkunku, who has undergone a huge improvement in his statistics after an excellent 2022 season. 88 in speed and dribbling and five stars in Skill Moves make him one of the most popular cards right now, as does Alphonso Davies who remains one of the most effective left-backs in the game, not least thanks to his incredible 94 in speed.

We start this small grouping of the best options of the Spanish championship with a future huge name in football: Vinicius Junior. Real Madrid’s centre-forward shows us no less than 95 in speed and 90 in dribbling, incredible statistics for the young Brazilian who only suffers from a 4-star opposite-foot strike. Offensively, we also find Ousmane Dembele, which is starting to wake up after a few inconsistent seasons. His card still shows 93 speed and 87 dribbling, with a double five-star opposite foot/skill moves making him an extremely solid offensive option. We complete this attacking trio with the inevitable Karim Benzema, which we had to mention, the one who comes out of a monstrous season and remains one of the favorites for the Golden Ball this year. Benzema is quite simply the best player in FIFA 23, and shows incredible stats, unfortunately suffering from a slight lack of speed (80). He is far from being the most meta center forward this season, but he had to be included in this ranking, for style.

Defensively speaking, La Liga offer excellent options, not least thanks to the presence of the giant Ruediger in the central hinge of Real Madrid. With his overall rating of 87 and his excellent defensive abilities, he is one of the best defenders in the game and remains quite easy to link. Second choice, Eder Militao he too remains a very solid option

In terms of awards, Serie A is one of the most impressive championships in the world. With its legendary teams led by undisputed football stars, and its booming young talents, it remains a market of choice for your FUT 23 players. Same situation as for Ligue 1, AC Milan dominates the debates, allowing easily link players together. As a guardian, we find Mike Maignan, the second goalkeeper of the blues has quite honorable statistics which make him a good alternative to Donnaruma. In defense, Theo Hernandez is one of the top picks when it comes to left-back. His excellent speed (93) and his defensive qualities make him one of the most versatile and popular players in his position. The central hinge can also be occupied by Fikayo Tomori. The Brit offers an extremely solid solution if you miss Van Dijk, Marquinhos or Rüdiger. Finally, on the left wing, you can opt for Rafael Leaowho can quickly open the way to the nets thanks to his excellent speed (91) and dribbling quality (86).
