LPutin’s Russia seems to be firing on all cylinders in its disastrous conflict with Ukraine. After the failure of the capture of kyiv and the rout inflicted on the Russian forces in the Kharkiv region, while Western (especially American) support did not weaken, the master of the Kremlin decided, on the one hand, to conduct referendums in order to annex the occupied Ukrainian territories to Russia and, on the other hand, to decree a “partial” mobilization in the country. In order to help us understand what this mobilization entails, from both a political and social point of view, Anna Colin Lebedev, lecturer in political science, specialist in armed conflicts and protest actions in post-Soviet societies, has agreed to answer our questions…
