Even in Telugu, the name of this series is Maunaragam. The series tells the story of a girl named Kalyani. This character is played by actress Aishwarya Ramsay. Although she is from Tamilnadu, many of the audience thought that Aishwarya is a Malayali.
Naleef, who plays Kiran, also hails from Chennai.
