Fish, fruits and vegetables are good for children’s brain development… even when they are eaten by their mothers during pregnancy. This is, in short, the conclusion of a study conducted among thousands of children born in 2011 and followed as part of the long-term national research program Elfe. These results, presented on Thursday, suggest that healthier diets during pregnancy are associated with better overall development scores at preschool age.
