Like last season, Le Parisien invites you to take a tour of the football program in Île-de-France. The weekend will be almost entirely devoted to the 5th round of the Coupe de France with the entries in the running of the three Ile-de-France teams of National, Red Star, Versailles and Paris 13 Atletico. The women’s D1 is taking a break due to international matches.
The poster of the weekend: Racing-Créteil
It is the shock of this 5th round of the Coupe de France. Racing CF, 3rd in group A of National 2 receives Créteil, 3rd in group B. This will be the penultimate match this season at the Stade Yves-du-Manoir under construction for the 2024 Olympics where it will host the Hockey- on-Grass. Racing will then play at the Montbauron stadium in Versailles. Still undefeated this season, Racing remains on a resounding victory at Évreux (5-0). Créteil has just won the derby against the Lusitanos of Saint-Maur (1-0). The Cristolian club recorded a weight reinforcement with the return of Ibrahima Seck (33 years old). The Senegalese played three years in Créteil (100 games, 10 goals) including two in L2. He returns seven years after his departure and visits to Auxerre (L2), Waasland-Beveren, Genk and Zulte-Waregem (D1 Belgium).
Beware of the trap for Red Star and Paris 13 Atletico
The three Ile-de-France representatives of the National who will play again in the league on Wednesday make their entry into the running this weekend in the Coupe de France. The Red Star and Paris 13 Atletico will have tricky trips to negotiate this Saturday at Saint-Leu and FC Mantois, two Regional 1 teams. Heroes of the previous edition with their semi-final in Nice, Versailles will play , in Argenteuil (R2) on Sunday.
The hard blow: rupture of the cruciate ligaments for Diego Michel
The verdict has fallen for Diego Michel, the attacking midfielder of Versailles (National) hit in the knee last Friday at the end of the match at Borgo (1-1). The former Red Star player is suffering from a ruptured cruciate ligament. A blow for Versailles because Michel (8 starts, 1 goal, 2 assists) had shown himself to be one of the best players in the team since the start of the season.
The nomination: Himed Hamma returns to Drancy
JA Drancy, 11th in National 3, which is playing a 93 derby at Esperance Aulnaysienne (R1) this Saturday in the Coupe de France, has a new technical director since this week. Without a club since leaving Bobigny (N2) last December, Himed Hamma is returning to the club. He had coached the Drancy U19s between 2016 and 2019.
Among young people: a Torcy-Bobigny derby in U19
Leader of group A among the U19s, Montfermeil moves to Le Havre, red lantern. In group B, the poster will oppose Torcy (13th) to FC 93 Bobigny BG, promoted and author of a good start to the season (6th),
