National Games; Sajan Prakash won fifth gold in swimming

Rajkot: Kerala’s Sajan Prakash wins fifth gold in 36th National Games swimming. Sajan won his fifth gold and his eighth medal of the Games in the men’s 200m medley on Friday. He finished in 2:0581 seconds to claim the gold medal.

Karnataka’s S. Shiva won the silver while Tamil Nadu’s Rohit Benedicton won the bronze.

Sajan also won gold in 400m freestyle on Friday. Finished in 3:58.11 seconds. Madhya Pradesh’s Advait Page won the silver while Karnataka’s Anish Gowda bagged the bronze. Earlier on Thursday, Sajan also won gold in the men’s 50m breaststroke. Apart from this, he won gold in men’s 200m butterfly and 100m butterfly.

Sajan won silver in 400m individual medley and 200m freestyle and bronze in 800m freestyle.
