A Hebron resident was caught driving at a speed of 200 km/h on a road where 90 is allowed

As part of an enforcement activity on Highway 1 that took place today (Friday) near Mitzpe Jericho, a speed camera was used to measure the speed of a car whose driver was traveling at a speed of 200 km/h, in a section of road where the speed limit is 90 km/h. The driver, a resident of Hebron was arrested and brought to a hearing before a police officer, his license was seized.

The police stated: “Driving at an excessive speed that does not match the road conditions is a real danger and may cause loss of control of the vehicle, and even be a fatal factor in the event of an accident.”
