Sensex down 30 points Dinamalar

MUMBAI: The trade in Indian stock markets ended with a swing, which started with a decline. Sensex fell 30 points.

At the end of today’s (Oct.7) trading hours, the Mumbai stock market index Sensex closed down 30 points at 58,191 points and the national stock market index Nifty closed down 17 points at 17,314 points.

Shares of Titan, Power Grid, ONGC, Indusand Bank rose. BPCL, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ultratech Cement and Coal India declined.

Sector-wise, metals, healthcare, oil & gas and IT stocks were down 0.5 percent each. Real estate, power and capital stocks ended higher.

Rupee depreciates further:

By the end of today’s trading hours, the Indian rupee fell by 43 paise to Rs 82.32 per dollar. At the end of yesterday’s trading hours, it was Rs.81.89.
