A red weekend was recorded in the stock markets of the world, with unabated price declines. In New York the Dow Jones 30 fell 2.11%, the S&P 500 lost 2.8% and the Composite fell 3.8%. Also in Europe, as mentioned, declines were seen – London’s FTSE 100 fell by 0.09%, Pharmaport’s DEX weakened by 1.59%, Madrid’s IBEX 35 fell by 0.99%, and Paris’ CAC 40 lost 1.17%. In the Far East – the Nikkei 225 of Tokyo fell by about 0.71%, the Hang Seng of Hong Kong weakened by 1.51%, and the CSI 300 of Shanghai weakened by about 0.58%.
