Prime Minister Yair Lapid receives regular updates on tonight’s terrorist attack in Jerusalem and the activities of the security forces in the area.
Prime Minister Yair Lapid:
“A serious attack at the Shoafat crossing. The security forces are working in the field to get their hands on the terrorist. On holidays, many forces are deployed in the field and work day and night to protect the citizens of Israel. Our hearts tonight are with the victims and their families. Terrorism will not defeat us, we are strong even in this difficult evening.” .
Before entering Shabbat, the Prime Minister held a security situation assessment for the coming days with an emphasis on the deployment of forces in Jerusalem and the Temple Mount as well as in other parts of the country.
