Stones were thrown, a Reina fan was rushed to a hospital

Maccabi Raina achieved a historic victory tonight (Saturday) for them, 0:1 over Maccabi Haifa, but alongside the celebrations at the Green Stadium there were some ugly incidents outside the grass among the crowd.

The teams’ fans threw stones that injured two Reina fans, including one who was rushed to a hospital. Stones were also thrown into the stands and the police arrested seven people. A fight broke out outside the stadium and one of the arrested belongs to Raina’s youth department.

As soon as the game ended, objects were thrown and several chairs were torn. Police forces went up to the stand and the chairman of Bnei Rayna, Said Basul, ran to the crowd and asked for an end to violence.
