Nalledath Illat in Palakkad Pattambi Thiruvegapuram combines cooking and dance. Srila started learning dance at the age of four. Then there was only dancing. Kalamandalam Sridevi Gopinath as Guru. Ganabhushanam passed in Palakkad Chembai Music College. She became more active in the field of dance after marriage. A dance school was started at ‘Nalleda’ itself. More than 200 students study in ‘Shivaranjini’ dance school which has been functioning for more than 22 years. Housewives also come to study.
Srila has acted in more than six films including Vasanthi, Silencer, Oru Desavishesam, Aran Eum Penna and several short films and albums, which won the State Film Award. He also acted in the Sanskrit film ‘Taya’. The film presented at the Indo-French International Film Festival was directed by Dr. G is Prabha. Lohit Das has received the Special Jury Award for his performance in the album ‘Minnaminneye’. Srila says that Bharatnatyam is her favorite genre.
