The Twitter account of the Russian Embassy in Israel attacked in a tweet the journalist Dov Gil-Har from the broadcasting corporation here, following a tweet about the explosion of the bridge in Crimea.

Gil-Har’s tweet that angered the Russians said: “A birthday present, a day late, arrived packed in a truck. Respect to the driver who most likely sacrificed his life. Happy birthday Vladimir.”

In response to the tweet, the Russians wrote: “Such statements by a senior presenter on state television are completely unacceptable.” The Russian Embassy added and wrote that it will send an official letter on the matter to the management of the broadcasting corporation here.

Gil-Har responded to the Russians and wrote: “Dictatorships belong in museums. Yours too. By the way – you can get your Sputnik V back.”

As you may remember, during the weekend the bridge that connected Russia to the Crimea was blown up, so far Kyiv has not taken responsibility in an official way, but there were many reactions on the net that saw it as a “birthday gift” to the Russian President Putin.

Among other things, the head of the National Security Council of Ukraine tweeted a video of the explosion alongside a birthday song he dedicated to Putin.
