Ponneri,-Three days ago, a grazing calf got stuck in the train and died near the first platform of the Ponneri railway station.
As the railway administration did not remove the body of the calf immediately, it is rotting and is now emitting a stench.
Passengers have informed the railway station authorities several times but no action is taken. Passengers waiting for the train are suffering due to bad smell. There are also health risks.
It is said that it should be removed only by the railway maintenance staff.
They have insisted that the body of the dead calf near the platform should be immediately removed for the health of the passengers and sanitation work should be carried out there.
