In order to solve the increasing traffic congestion in Cuddalore day by day, bypasses and link roads have been constructed at various places.
In this way, to avoid traffic congestion in Tirupathiripuliyur shopping streets, a bypass road has been constructed to separate from Vandipalayam road and connect to Tirupathiripuliyur Sankara Naidu Street via Nattaveli Road. The 40 feet wide road through Saravana Nagar has a lot of vehicles plying it every day. Due to this, the traffic congestion in Cuddalore city has reduced.
Especially, the devotees who go to the Thiruvanthipuram temple are going with peace of mind. More than 20 townspeople in the area have also benefited greatly.
This road has not been properly maintained and the gravels have shifted from place to place making it impassable. Drivers face inconvenience as rain water stagnates in ditches.
Not knowing the existence of potholes, people riding two-wheelers at night are falling down and getting into accidents. Therefore, the municipal administration should take steps to repair this important traffic road.
