Road accidents: The death of a motorcyclist near Beit Shemesh was determined

A 52-year-old motorcyclist was killed today (Monday) in a car accident, after being hit by a vehicle on road 3866 from the Makhsia intersection towards Nes Harim, near Beit Shemesh. MDA medics and paramedics found him at the scene with multiple systemic injuries without signs of life, and had to pronounce him dead.

MDA paramedic Muhammad Fawaka said: “The motorcyclist was lying on the side of the road beyond the separation fence, unconscious and suffering from a very severe multi-system injury. We performed medical tests, but he was without signs of life and all we had to do was determine his death.” The police began investigating the accident, and the scene was closed in order to investigate its circumstances.

The serious road accidents continue to claim the lives of many. During the last few weeks, among others, a 40-year-old man was killed in a car accident in the Dead Sea area, and a pedestrian and a motorcyclist who lost their lives in the Negev and Ra’anana.
