Vadakancherry > The owner and driver of the tourist bus, who are in custody in connection with the accident that killed nine people, will be taken into custody. An application will be made to the court on the next day for this. Basutama Arun (30) and driver Jomon (46) are in remand. The driver was charged with intentional homicide. Arun is charged with incitement. The scene of Jomon dancing and driving was circulated in the new media.

The police said that including this will come under the scope of the investigation. Over the course of three months, Arun’s mobile received a speeding warning 19 times. The report so far related to the accident has been submitted to the High Court by the Investigating Officer Alathur DySP R Ashokan. The court was apprised of the investigation progress and information. The accident took place at 11.30 pm on Wednesday.

Blood test results are delayed

The test result of tourist bus driver Jomon’s blood sample has not come. The test is to find out whether alcohol or other intoxicating substances were used at the time of the accident. The blood was collected when Jomon was arrested the day after the accident.
