Manama: Bahrain Keraliya Samajam Literary Section will be inaugurated on Friday, October 14 at 7:30 pm by renowned thinker, lecturer and teacher Dr. Sunil P will officiate. In the inaugural session, Dr. Samajam President PV Radhakrishna Pillai, General Secretary Varghese Karakal and Literature Department Secretary Feroz Thiruvatra said in a press release that Sunil P will give a lecture and also organize a face-to-face meeting with him.
PV Radhakrishna Pillai said that the visit of Sunil P Ilayat will give new energy to the Malayalam literature sector in the Gulf region especially in Bahrain after the Covid era, and the society is planning a series of lectures by prominent people in the field of culture and society.
General Secretary Varghese Karakal informed that Sunil P Ilayat’s lecture and the BKS Samaj International Book Festival in November are positive interventions in the literary and cultural arena of the Samaj. The literary department consists of committees like Sahityavedi, Paravavedi, Quiz Club, Malayalam Pathshala, Book Festival Committee etc.
