Last month, ManpowerGroup, together with Thrive – a specialist in technology for behavioral change – launched a major survey of 5,000 employees in five countries (France, Italy, United Kingdom, Australia and United States) on their definition fulfillment at work. The result is clear: criterion no. 1 is flexibility for 93% of respondents. “Whatever the age, the employee now wants more freedom, more autonomy. It is a real post-Covid shift that we are seeing in a strong way, underlines Sébastien Van Dyk, general manager of Talent Solutions in France for Manpower. We want to live our professional life differently, we have new and different aspirations. Moreover, if a company now does not offer flexibility, it becomes very complicated because emotional and physical well-being is a priority for a work-life balance. »
