Joe Biden, Shi Jinping talks today- Dinamani

by time news

US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold a video conference on Monday (Nov. 15).

As tensions between the two countries escalate over the Taiwan issue, the talks have provoked huge opposition.

A statement from White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said:

Talks between Adibo Joe Biden and Chinese Adi Xi Jinping are scheduled for Monday evening (Tuesday morning, Chinese time). The meeting will be held via video.

During the talks, the two leaders will discuss how to responsibly advance the rivalry between the United States and China.

In addition, the two countries will hold consultations on issues of consensus.

During the talks, Atifa Biden will brief Xi Jinping on US intentions, priorities and US concerns with China, the statement said.

China considers Taiwan a province of their country. China has said it has the right to rejoin the country and will use military force if necessary.

China has accused the democratically formed government in Taiwan of being a separatist movement.

Taiwan has said it is already operating as a sovereign state and does not need to declare independence from China.

In this context, an unprecedented influx of Chinese warplanes into Taiwan’s airspace caused a stir last month.

Taiwan’s Tibet Tsai Ing-wen has blamed China’s move for causing unprecedented tensions in the past 72 years.

Taiwan’s Defense Minister Xiu Guo-cheng has expressed fears that China could invade their country by 2025.

To confirm those fears, Chinese President Xi Jinping later announced that Taiwan would be annexed by their country in a ‘peaceful way’.

As a result, Adibah Joe Biden caused a stir last month, saying the United States would provide security for the island if China attacked Taiwan.

Earlier this month, Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed Forces, Mack Mille, said that they had the strength to defend Taiwan from Chinese aggression.

China has strongly condemned these comments. China has said the Taiwan issue is their internal affair and that the United States should not interfere in the matter.

Thus, in the context of increasing tensions between the United States and China, talks between Joe Biden and Xi Jinping will take place.
