Do you like beer? This is the place for you. “Beit Beer Waiter” in Rishon Lezion is the playground for beer lovers, entertainment and food.
The place belongs to Amit Meltzer, and opened only two months ago. The design of the place incorporates Meltzer’s collection of beer accessories: thousands of coasters from around the world hang from the ceiling, and neon and tin signs are combined on the walls, and Meltzer’s large collection of glasses. The lighting fixtures are made from taps and beer bottles. The bar is covered by a glass cabinet and inside there is a collection of rare coasters (like jewelry), there is another bar around the open kitchen above which is an artistic mural, which tells the story of a waiter’s life. Outside you will find a beer garden with seating, soft night lighting and vegetation.
Each beer among the 130 types of beers served on the premises comes to customers with its own unique glass and saucer, which provides a perfect pouring and drinking experience.
Among the beers served in the place you will find types that the waiter personally imports, beers with lactose, chocolate beer, beer with blood oranges, beers that are aged in rum or whiskey barrels, Radler beers for athletes, sour beers that require complex and long production, collector’s editions, nitro cans – with pouring in a rattle , beer and a waiter on an issue and more. To cleanse the palate between beer styles, lemon sorbet is served at the bar.
The bar has about 20 beer taps, and if you have a hard time deciding, you can choose a tray of 6 tastings to choose from.
So what do you eat? The menu and the food are entrusted to the Italian chef, Franco Amirti, who created a food menu that accompanies the beer, and he is also like the beers and the place is full of passion and emotion. Some of the dishes change on a daily basis depending on the raw materials.
During the Holy Week they will celebrate the Oktoberfest at Melzer. The place will be decorated during the celebrations with traditional Oktoberfest decorations. A special food menu adapted to the festival will be served, a variety of German beers will be served as well as the Oktoberfest beer, which was produced and brewed especially for the celebrations. There will be beer drinking contests and a playlist tailored to the festival in the background.
