In response to a question, he said that he takes full responsibility for the failure of his films. The superstar cited the failure of Acharya as an example of this. He added that there is no sense of guilt in Acharya’s failure.

Acharya was the first film in which Chiranjeevi and Ramcharan appeared in full-length roles. The film collected around 73 crores in the first three days of its release and could not continue that momentum. Pooja Hegde and Sonu Sood were in other lead roles in the film. Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi starrer Godfather is continuing in theatres. Salman Khan and Nayanthara are in the other lead roles in the film, which is a remake of the Malayalam film Lucifer.
