CHENNAI: While the sales of two-wheelers increased last month, the sales of TVS XL only declined.
According to data released by the Association of Automobile Manufacturers of India, TVS Motors, a leading two and three-wheeler manufacturer, sold 47,613 mopeds in September last year. However, this is lower than last year’s sales of 61,664 in 2021.
Similarly, the export of mopeds has also declined to 438 this year from 710 in September last year.
