World Shooting: Bronze for Indian team- Dinamani

India on Thursday bagged a bronze medal in the junior women’s 25m pistol team event at the ISSF World Championships in Egypt.

On the first day of the tournament, India’s team consisting of Isha Singh, Namya Kapoor and Vibhuti Bhatia defeated the Jomani team by 17-1 in the bronze medal round.

In other categories, Nishal finished 8th with 616.9 points and Nurbur Kumrawat 34th with 606.6 points in Junior Girls’ 50m Rifle Prone category. In the junior men category, Surya Pratap Singh secured 13th position (608.7), Pankaj Mukheja secured 14th position (608.5), Hash Singla secured 20th position (606) and Adrian Kamakar secured 27th position (603.7).

In the Junior Mixed Teams 50m Rifle Prone category, Surya Pratap Singh/ Nishal finished 2nd with 619.1 points and Nubur Kumrawat/ Pankaj Mukheja 7th with 612.4 points.
