Regarding this, actress Chandini said, “Former minister Manikandan lived together saying he was going to marry me.
I had already filed a complaint in this regard at the police station. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and conducted an investigation.
Then Manikandanam and his family spoke to me in peace. I then withdrew the complaint.
Then they said that they would give me compensation including money. But not yet. Couldn’t contact him for last 3 months. They lie that they are staying at home and are in Bengaluru.
I withdrew the sexual assault case against him because of his promises. But, Manikandan has not fulfilled the promises given to me till today,” he alleged.
A 351-page chargesheet was filed against Manikandan based on the actress’s complaint against former minister Manikandan.
It is noteworthy that actress Chandini has acted as a supporting actress in some films in Tamil.
