Abu Dhabi: Visa-free entry to Japan for UAE nationals from November 1 UAE nationals holding regular passports can enter Japan without a visa, officials said. Officials have clarified that UAE nationals will be granted visa-free entry if their visit period does not exceed 30 days.

The new move comes amid the signing of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the UAE and Japan. Japan has recently announced that it has reopened its borders after restrictions imposed by the spread of the Covid-19 virus and has lifted the restrictions on foreign tourists.
