Paris is stubborn, Haifa is struggling: the battle for the tickets

by time news

Great anger in Maccabi Haifa against Paris Saint-Germain. The Greens announced that in recent weeks they have been holding talks with the French champion and the country’s legal authorities regarding the sale of tickets to a crowd of fans for the game that will be held in the French capital. Following the uncertainty on the issue, the club sent an urgent letter to UEFA.

According to the Greens, 2,400 fans are supposed to accompany the team to Paris, but at this stage it seems that they will not receive the allocation they deserve, but only 1,500 tickets – five percent less than what is allowed according to UEFA – due to the fear of the French authorities and security alerts. In Haifa, they complain about unfair treatment on the part of PSG and have refused to take the tickets as of now.

At the same time, the club contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli Embassy in Paris in order to request assistance on the matter. The Greens are supposed to occupy 5% of the contents of the Parc de France, but at this stage Carmel claims that it is not certain that they will receive this.
