18-year-old Indian athlete Rudrankash Patil won the gold medal in the men’s 10m air rifle event at the World Championship in Cairo, Egypt.
In this match, he beat Italy’s Danilo Dennis Solasso 17-13. With this, he became the second Indian after Abhinav Bindra to achieve this feat. He has also confirmed his participation in next year’s Olympic shooting competition in Paris
