Kozhikode: Two passengers were slightly injured in a stone pelting attack on a Kozhikode train. The incident took place between West Hill and Elathur.

The Samparkkranti Express which left Kozhikode railway station at 1.55 pm was pelted with stones. Two windows of the train were broken in the incident. Passengers were injured after pieces of broken glass splashed on their heads and hands. Injured, they got down at Kannur railway station, the next stop of the train.

R.P.F. Officers searched the area between West Hill and Elathur but could not find the person who pelted the stone. At present Kozhikode R.P.F. A case has been registered and investigation has been started.
