Abdul Kalam’s new statue is honored by Chief Minister- Dinamani

Chief Minister N. Rangasamy paid homage to the statue of Abdul Kalam in Puducherry Laspet on Saturday evening. With KSP Ramesh MLA.

On the occasion of the 91st birth anniversary of former President Abdul Kalam, Chief Minister N. Rangasamy paid respects to his statue in Puducherry on Saturday evening.

Chief Minister N. Rangaswamy garlanded his statue at the Abdul Kalam Science Center and Planetarium complex in Laspettai, Puducherry. KSP Ramesh MLA, Science Technology, Environment Department Secretary A. Muthamma, Director P. Priyadashini also paid their respects by wearing wreaths.

Subsequently, a special seminar was held under the chairmanship of M. Selvaraj, Director, Kanchi Mamuniv Government Postgraduate Research Institute. Research Institute Director M. Selvaraj, Director of Vector Crop Control Research Center Ashwinikumar gave special speeches.

Students of Tagore Government College of Arts and Science, students of Kanji Mamunivar Government Postgraduate Studies Center paid respect to Kalam’s statue by garlanding it.
