National Open Athletics: Gold for Tamil Nadu’s Rosy Meena in pole vault

Tamil Nadu’s Rosie Meena Balraj once again won gold in pole vault with a new national record at the National Open Athletics Championship.

The National Open Athletics Championship is being held in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Rosy Meena Balraj (25) won gold with a new national record by jumping a height of 4.21m in the women’s pole vault event held at the Kandirawa ground on Saturday. Pavitra, Paranika (Railway) won silver and bronze.

Rossi has set a new record for the second time in the last 15 days. He had already set a national record by winning gold by jumping 4.20m in the 36th National Games held in Gandhi Nagar. Now he has broken his own record.
