Sony has announced the launch of its new ZV-1F camera for vloggers, which allows capturing 20-megapixel photos and recording 4K videos or shooting in slow motion at 120fps. The company plans to launch it on October 28.

The Japanese company explained that the new camera is a low-cost alternative to the ZV-1 camera, and Sony has relied on its new cameras on the Zeiss lens, which provides the equivalent of a small image with a focal length of 20 mm and a f/2.0 lens.

The new camera’s technical equipment package includes a one-inch 20-megapixel BSI-CMOS sensor, which enables 4K video recording at 30fps, in addition to a 1080p slow-motion shooting function at 120fps.

To reduce the cost of the new ZV-1F camera, the Japanese company has abandoned some important functions such as the RAW image recording function and the lack of optical image stabilization function, and instead relies on the digital image stabilization function, and it does not include a headphone port to monitor the audio recording.

The new Sony ZV-1F camera includes a 3-inch foldable screen to facilitate the process of video blogging, and the new camera is connected to tablets via the USB-C port, in addition to the ability to use it as a 720p webcam.
