Coimbatore: ‘Religious Harmony Diwali Celebration with People’ was organized by ‘Bharat Mata Charitable Trust’ at Community Welfare Center in Gandhinagar area of Udayampalayam.
In this, more than 70 families were given 22 types of grocery items, crackers, sweet, salty, fresh and rice. Subsequently, on the occasion of World Food Day, food was distributed. Jamaat-e-Islami Hindu Abdul Hakeem, Catholic Devanga Social Welfare Secretary Michael Kennedy gave welfare assistance in the event presided over by Kauri Shankar, Executive Trustee of the Trust.
