Carnage on the way: An accident that happened on road 762, near Ivtin, caused the death of a young man who was fatally injured and suffered multi-system damage. MDA medics and paramedics gave him medical treatment at the scene of the accident, but had to pronounce him dead.
In addition to the young man, a man and a woman about 40 years old were also injured in the accident, who were evacuated to Rambam Hospital by the medical staff as their condition is serious and unstable, and they suffer from multi-system injuries.
MDA paramedics, Roni Hawkey and Hanan Zohar, and MDA emergency medic Natan Shahar said: “This was a shocking car accident. The vehicles were torn apart and completely dismantled. A young man who was fatally injured was lying on the road unconscious and suffering from a very severe multi-system injury. We performed medical examinations, but he had no signs of life, and all we had to do was determine his death. A man and a woman in their 40s who were lying next to the other vehicle suffered severe multi-system injuries. We gave them initial medical treatment in the field, which included stopping bleeding, dressings, and immobilization, and evacuated them in the intensive care unit of Med “A to the hospital in a serious and unstable condition with the woman sedated and breathing and the man conscious.”
As a result of the accident, road 762 from the Ibtin junction to the Nufit junction was blocked for traffic in both directions. Police are on the scene directing traffic.
