All four were speeding in a car on Purwanjal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. Anand Prakash took to Facebook Live to show the city the speed and driving style of his luxury car. In the live, his friend kept the speedometer of the car indicating the speed. At one point the car started traveling at a speed of over 200 kmph.

Anand started driving slowly increasing the speed to 210, 215, 220 kmph as his friends shouted from behind saying more speed more speed. It’s like we all four are going to die at any speed in a friend’s house. He said let the car go at 300 kmph. As if his words were true, in the next few seconds the car collided with an oncoming container lorry and smashed to pieces. Four people who were traveling in the car died on the spot.

The driver of the container fled the scene and is absconding. The Sultanpur police registered a case in connection with the incident and sent the bodies of the four for post-mortem.
