Kolkata Police seized Rs 8 crore from the house and car of two businessmen from West Bengal.

In West Bengal, Trinamool Congress is ruling under the leadership of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The bank officials told the police that Shailesh Pandey and Arvind Pandey, businessmen brothers from Howrah district here, had transacted unusually high amounts in the bank.

Subsequently, the police raided their house in Kolkata’s Shippur. At that time, currency notes stashed inside the bed were seized. 2 crore rupees were seized from the car which was parked at the door of the house. A total of Rs 8 crore was seized in this raid.

None of the businessman’s family members were at home during the raid. The police are looking for absconding businessmen Sailesh and Aravind.
