Starring Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Jayaram, Parthiban, Sarathkumar, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Sobitha Thulipala, this film was released after about two years of shooting. Expectations were high on a global scale.
It has been 17 days since the release of the movie ‘Ponniyin Selvan’, this movie has created a record of collecting around 200 crore rupees in Tamil Nadu alone.
