Madras High Court verdict in Shivaji Ganesan’s daughters case.

The Madras High Court has dismissed the petitions filed by actor Sivaji Ganesan’s daughters regarding the property issue.

Actor Sivaji Ganesan’s brothers Ramkumar and actor Prabhu cheated him by not giving him a share in his assets. Therefore, Sivaji Ganesan’s daughters Shanti and Rajvi filed a case in the Madras High Court that the family property should be distributed to them.

Further, since Ramkumar, Prabhu and others are involved in the sale of shares of Shanti Theater and its assets, additional petitions were filed on behalf of Shanti and Rajvi that pending the completion of the main case, an interim ban should be placed on the sale of properties including Shanti Theatre.

When the hearing on this petition took place yesterday, both the petitioners have equal shares in all the properties. The counsel for the petitioners argued for a stay on the sale of shares and assets of Shanti Theatre. In opposition to this, Ramkumar was argued on behalf of Prabhu. All the formalities in the Shanti Theater issue have already been completed.

At this stage, this case has been filed. Therefore, it was argued that the ban should not be imposed. After hearing the arguments of all parties, Judge Shanti rejected the pleas seeking a stay on the sale of the theatre.

He has also ordered to adjourn the decision on the additional petitions without specifying the date.
