Coach Lionel Scolari has confirmed that Lionel Messi will play in the World Cup qualifier against Brazil. Speaking to the media before the match, Scoaloni also spoke about Leandro Parades, who was out injured, and Paulo Dybala, who has fitness issues.
“Lionel Messi is doing very well, physically so. We have decided that we only need to give the player a few minutes at the end to make the best of this match. We are sure the player will play in tomorrow’s match.”

Scolari spoke about the inclusion of Paulo Dybala in the squad and the possibility of Leandro Parades playing. “Paulo Dybala arrived here with a minor injury and withdrew at half-time in the last match. We are waiting for the Tests to find out what his current status is.”
“Leandro Parades has been training as usual. The player is fine but we will decide whether to include him in the final squad after analyzing him. Parades comes without playing for a few days. The important thing is that the player is fine.” Scaloni said.
“Brazil will face Brazil in the Copa America final, but the competition will be tough,” he said. He added that the current top-ranked team, which has qualified for the World Cup, will face a lot of difficulties and that all other teams have given up as tough competition as Brazil.
