Beijing – The Chinese tennis player Peng Shuai, who disappeared from the scene after allegations of abuse, is said to be safe, according to the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). Steve Simon, chairman of the WTA, said it had received confirmation from multiple sources, including the Chinese Tennis Association, that Peng Shuai was safe and not being physically threatened.
