Kochi; The Film Critics Awards 2021 have been announced. Dulquer Salmaan won the best actor award. The award is for acting in the films Kurup and Salute. Durga Krishna was chosen as the best actress for her performance in the movie ‘Udal’. The best movie is Aavasavyuha produced and directed by Krishanth. Martin Prakat won the best director award for Naayat.
Unni Mukundan won the second best actor award for his performance in Meppadiyan. Manju Pillai was named Best Second Actress for her performance in Home. Joshi received the Chalchirat Ratnam Award and Suresh Gopi received the Critics Jubilee Award. Revathi, Urvashi, Babu Namboothiri and Kochupreman were given the film talent award. The awards were announced by Dr. George Onakure, president of the association and chairman of the jury.
Second Best Film: Minnal Murali.
