Prime Minister Lapid: You saved people’s lives – this is the definition of heroism”
Prime Minister Yair Lapid met today with Nadav and Sergei, the two security guards who killed the terrorist yesterday, in the Maele Adumim attack.
The Prime Minister heard from them about the progress of the attack yesterday and the encounter with the terrorist and said:
“You neutralized someone who had already murdered, and the person who murdered continues to murder until someone stops him. You saved people’s lives – this is the definition of heroism, to do an act that saves people’s lives. Know that an entire country is full of appreciation.
I spoke with the security personnel and they were all excited by your conduct, including the people who were in Shuafat and saw their company fall, full of appreciation and gratitude to both of you.”
At the end of the meeting, Prime Minister Lapid awarded them certificates of appreciation on behalf of the State of Israel for their determined activity.
