Rafael is expected to invest about 10 million euros in the project. The first order from the joint venture is already in the hands of the Hungarian government, which has already made an advance for the order in the amount of about 10 million euros. DND will also own 51% of the joint company’s shares. For now both parties have agreed on the details of the contract and at this stage they are awaiting the approval of the two governments.

It should be noted that this business relationship is not the first between Hungary and Israel. About a year and a half ago, the country, together with Slovakia and the Czech Republic, purchased Iron Dome systems from Rafael. Also, in recent years, Hungary has purchased defense and radar systems from the aerospace industry, from Rafael and Malbit Systems.
