DJ, games and giant target for a night-time evening at the Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines National Golf Course

This is an opportunity to get out of the usual framework. Forgotten the classic initiation, young and old can try golf with experienced volunteers this Friday. The National Golf of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines offers a free evening to discover the practice, the approach and the putting thanks to many fun workshops. This first attempt is part of the “Golf Experience”, an event accessible to everyone.

The evening is also open to experienced players. Licensees can reserve a 3-hole course, the opportunity to play on the emblematic site of the 2018 Ryder Cup and the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. These seasoned golfers can practice their favorite sport in unprecedented conditions before benefiting from analyzes swing and putt technologies with Trackman, Sam PuttLab and force plates.

Ecological awareness actions

The driving range will be specially prepared to be highlighted, a DJ will set up his turntables to play sound all evening and a space will open for children with a giant target. Contests will also be organized to win prizes.

The national golf course has decided to take advantage of this event to raise public awareness of current issues. The site’s landscape and environment manager will be present to detail the actions implemented to preserve the environment and promote biodiversity, such as the permaculture garden which tends to recycle the site’s green waste.
