by time news

Sidaction revisits the famous Indian work with a shimmering Kamasutra, which aims to reflect all sexual orientations, contains the drawings of 67 illustrators.

“The real pleasure is to enjoy one’s plural identities”. Sidaction publishes this Thursday, October 20 a revisited version of the Kamasutra, which reflects all sexualities.

Far from the famous Indian work written in the 4th century, this first Kamasutra LGBT +, therefore celebrates “all loves”, and intends to show all kinds of bodies, fat, thin, hairy or tattooed.

“Artistic, poetic and useful”

Sixty-seven illustrators set out to draw these 69 situations, depicting physical love in all its forms. Two, three, more or at a distance. In the position of the thorn, the hourglass or the snail. For all sexual identities and orientations.

“The Kamasutra+ is intended to be an artistic, poetic and useful work to show that the real pleasure is to enjoy one’s plural identities, to feel good with oneself, therefore with others. This is the key to “good sexual health, and a powerful lever to fight against HIV” explains Florence Thune, CEO of Sidaction, in a press release.

The diversity of drawing styles illustrates the diversity of situations. Colorful, dreamlike, joyful or tender, these boards strike the eye and the mind. And remember that the condom remains the best way to protect yourself against AIDS.

The singer Eddy de Prettorevealed by Party too many et Kid, signs the preface of the book. He evokes his discovery of sexuality through heterosexual models and recalls “the necessity, the urgency and the impact of a work like this”.

The profits from the sale of this book will be donated to Sidaction and will be used to finance medical research and prevention.
