The late Rabbi Aharon Asher, father of MK Yaakov Asher of Degal, passed away at the age of 96

Baruch Dayan the truth: Rabbi Aharon Asher, the late Rabbi Aharon Asher – the father of MK Yaakov Asher of the Torah Flag – passed away on Saturday in a good shiva in Bnei Brak medical center.

On Saturday night he did not feel well and was evacuated from his home in Bnei Brak to the hospital, where his condition deteriorated and on Saturday morning he died.

The deceased was a veteran of the city of Ramat Gan, where he lived for decades. He attended Torah lessons and educated his children in Torah and mitzvot. Even after he moved to the city of Bnei Brak, he made sure to attend Torah lessons in the Great Synagogue.

In his lifetime, he survived his eldest son Rabbi Avraham Asher, who died suddenly in 1979.

He left behind his wife Martha Tova, and a blessed generation of righteous people: his sons Rabbi Pinchas Asher, and MK Yaakov Asher, many grandchildren and descendants.

The funeral will leave this evening at 22:00 from his house Nissenboim St. 12 Bnei Brak on its way to Segulah Cemetery in Petah Tikva.
