Police officers of the National Security Agency and security guards of the Israel Defense Forces arrested during the night (Sunday) at the end of searches and the deployment of operational roadblocks, an Arab from Ramallah who broke through the entrance gates to the place with a stolen vehicle and tried to run over the security guards in the field.
The Arab was located at the end of the searches and the police of the Benin region arrested him for questioning, at the end of which he was imprisoned. The police intend to bring him to a hearing in court this morning with a request to extend his detention.
The police stated: “This is another serious incident of thwarting an attempt to harm security forces by a resident of the Iosh territories, who entered Israel in violation of the law through the breached fence, which actually endangers the public’s property and safety.”
