On the occasion of Diwali, the prisoners arrested under the Prevention of Terrorism Act have been released in a presidential amnesty.
Four of the inmates were released last Friday and three more are expected to be released tomorrow.
The minister also said that the eighth prisoner should undergo rehabilitation before being released.
